| Description: |
The Clinical Nurse Consultant will promote the companies products in the oncology nursing segment, and maximize sales and earnings for an assigned geographical area
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
•Identifies and accesses key customers and promotes The company’s products to meet and/or exceed sales and profit objectives
•Develops and implements business plan to drive sales and meet customer needs
•Deliver presentations to nursing groups, societies and other pertinent venues.
•Partner with influential nursing organizations, targeted accounts, and national, state and local societies to drive disease state related educational initiatives in a promotional context within product labeling.
•Work closely with marketing to identify nursing specific tools to leverage with customers •Maintains open dialogue with key opinion leaders in nursing arena and develops product champions
•Manages resources effectively while maintaining accurate records of company related expenditures
•Communicate and coordinate sales efforts with sales representatives, sales management and other corporate support as part of a concerted sales effort
•Identify and communicate field issues, opportunities, and competitive activities through appropriate organizational venues
•Attends and participates in sales meetings, training classes, conventions, and other business activities Skills/Knowledge Required:
•Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Nursing or related sciences
•Additional relevant sales and marketing experience •Minimum five years of oncology experience, either clinically or industry
•Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of the oncology market, preferably focused on the pharmaceutical industry.
•Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills •Ability to utilize customer relationships and develop traditional and non-traditional customer relationships to further business opportunities
•Demonstrates expert knowledge in related disease states and the ability to serve as a technical and clinical resource to the medical community
•Ability to target, develop and maintain a customer base
•Ability to utilize account knowledge to resolve issues common to various customer segments •Demonstrate effective influence skills with customer teams to maximize promotional/other programs •Demonstrate customer literacy and ability to interpret clinical and market data |
